Rebecca
Mann — Principal
Rebecca realised her dream of owning her own dance school and helping other
aspiring dancers and performers to achieve their own goals when she established
PAWS with co-principal
Jason Liu-Brennan in 2005.
Bec's experience and accomplishments:
- Studied at the Central Coast College of Dance and Tanya Pearson
Classical Coaching Academy
- Completed
her Royal Academy of Dancing Teachers Certificate with distinction
- Danced in Japan with the Ikagami Ballet Company
- Danced with the Garry Spellman Show, Australian Elvis Festival, Breen
Machine and recently in the short film Duk-duk
Taught for Sydney Dance Company Studios, Alegeria, JTV Dance and
Entertainment, Bradford Dance Academy, Dance Junction, Dancentral, Dance
Tech 2000, Mango Dance Studios and Helen Haskis Studio of Dance
- Is a qualified piano teacher with the AMEB
Jason
Liu-Brennan — Principal
Jason started dancing at the age of 5 and has trained in Classical Ballet, Jazz,
Contemporary, Tribal, Character, Modern, Hip-hop, Funk, Rap and Break Dance. He
has worked as a dancer, actor, teacher, choreographer, performance artist, stilt
walker and fire twirler/breather.
Jason's experience and career highlights:
- Graduated from The McDonald College in 1987
- Choreographer of the Dance Collection then the Bodies Festivals at the
Newtown Theatre
- Co-Director/Choreographer for Gluttony at Fox Studios, Pacific Sky
Cruises
- Assistant Choreographer and performer at the Sydney Olympic Games
opening ceremony
- Danced with the Australian Opera
- Performed in the well known opera Madam Butterfly
- Performed in Mitradate at the Capital Theatre
- Appeared in many operas including Turrandot, Aida, Trojans, Sesame
Street Live and Power Rangers
- Taught at Sydney Dance Co. Studios, University of Western Sydney,
Australian Theatre for Young People, Aboriginal Dance Theatre, Dynamite
Studios, Brent Street Studios, McDonald College and of course PAWS the
Performance Art WorkShop.
